About Patreon
Patreon supports recurring creator memberships and other eligible paid offerings. People pay for access to the work or benefits you describe, making an existing audience and a manageable publishing schedule especially useful.
What the work involves
Define a benefit you can deliver every month without relying on unlimited personal attention. Explain what members receive, when it arrives and what is public. Keep the first tier simple, then add options only when demand and your workload justify them.
₱12,500–₱50,000/month
Fifty to two hundred paying members on a ₱250 monthly tier generate ₱12,500–₱50,000 in gross membership revenue. Those member counts and the tier price are assumptions. Subtract platform, payment-processing and payout fees, plus the cost of delivering rewards. Free followers do not contribute to this calculation.

Your questions about Patreon
Will Patreon find paying fans for me automatically?
Do not build your plan around automatic discovery. Explain the membership to people who already value your work, show a useful public sample and make the paid benefits easy to understand. Track how people find the page so you can focus on the channels that bring interested visitors.
How many membership tiers should I start with?
Start with one or two offers you can explain and deliver consistently. For example, offer a regular extra tutorial or a monthly resource pack. Estimate the work each benefit creates before adding more tiers.
Does a member’s payment equal my payout?
No. The customer’s payment can be reduced by platform and payment charges, refunds and currency conversion. Compare the payment statement with the amount that reaches you, and budget separately for any tax you owe.
What if I cannot keep delivering a promised benefit?
Communicate early, change future promises clearly and review refund obligations. Avoid benefits that require more work than the membership revenue supports.
How do I budget the time needed for member benefits?
List each benefit and estimate its monthly delivery time, including messages and support. Multiply individual services by the number of members who can request them. Start with benefits you can deliver consistently and review the workload before adding another tier.
Should I launch with several membership tiers?
Patreon recommends starting with one tier to keep the offer manageable. Choose a benefit connected to your creative work, such as early access, exclusive posts or community access. Explain what members receive and how often you will deliver it before adding more tiers.
Which income records should I keep?
Track membership receipts, refunds, platform deductions and payouts. If a membership includes physical rewards, record their production and delivery costs as well. These records help separate the income from the cost of serving your members.
