What could the repayments look like?
Try different amounts, repayment periods and interest rates in the loan payment calculator. It is an independent example, not this company’s quote. A longer term can lower each payment while increasing total interest.
Already know your monthly budget? Estimate an amount you could plan around. For an actual offer, include its fees and payment schedule.
What deserves a closer look
Check your membership record
SSS and Pag-IBIG entitlements are not determined by salary alone. Contributions, savings and existing balances can matter.
Ask whether your employer participates
A payroll product can be unavailable even if you earn enough. Ask HR about accreditation and deductions.
Protect your take-home pay
Automatic deduction makes collection easier, but does not make a repayment affordable. Include your other deductions in the budget.
Your questions, answered.
How is an SSS salary loan different from a company payroll loan?
SSS uses membership and contribution rules. Employer-linked lenders use their own payroll arrangements. Being employed does not automatically qualify you for either.
Does my current salary determine my SSS loan amount?
SSS bases the amount on posted Monthly Salary Credits, subject to its rules. Your current gross payslip salary is not the same figure.
Why do recent contributions matter for an SSS salary loan?
SSS requires both a contribution history and recent posted contributions. Check your online record before assuming that an employer’s deduction has been posted.
Can voluntary or self-employed SSS members borrow?
The programme includes qualifying membership types beyond employees. Check the contribution conditions for your current membership category.
Will an overdue SSS loan affect a new application?
SSS checks specified existing loan obligations. Review your loan ledger and resolve any discrepancy before submitting another application.
Where does SSS send an approved salary loan?
An active disbursement account enrolled through SSS is required. Verify the account details in your own My.SSS profile.
Is the SSS salary loan maximum automatically approved?
No. The requested amount and programme entitlement limit the loan. A published ceiling is not a personal approval.
What happens to payroll deductions if I change employers?
Ask the lender and both payroll teams how repayment will continue. Leaving a job does not itself cancel the debt.
Does Pesopal approve salary loans or lend me money?
No. Pesopal compares salary borrowing options and published information. The lender or programme administrator assesses your application and issues the offer. Changing our filters does not submit an application or guarantee eligibility.
What should I verify after comparing salary options on Pesopal?
Check contribution or employer eligibility, deductions and your remaining take-home pay on the lender’s official website or app, then confirm your written offer. Rates, fees, limits and requirements can change after our review, Pesopal’s figures are a comparison starting point, not a binding quote.
