What could the repayments look like?

Try different amounts, repayment periods and interest rates in the loan payment calculator. It is an independent example, not this company’s quote. A longer term can lower each payment while increasing total interest.

Already know your monthly budget? Estimate an amount you could plan around. For an actual offer, include its fees and payment schedule.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

What deserves a closer look

01

Use the same principal and term

A lower monthly payment over a longer period can mean a higher total cost. Compare equivalent borrowing needs first.

02

Check the income definition

Gross income, take-home pay and household income are different. A bank may also require employment tenure or business records.

03

Read the deduction list

Processing fees and applicable tax can reduce the cash disbursed while interest is charged on the full principal.

Your questions, answered.

What can a personal loan pay for?

A personal loan can help cover expenses such as medical bills, education or home improvements. Choose a purpose the lender allows and compare the repayment with your monthly budget before deciding how much to borrow.

Do I need property as collateral for a personal loan?

An unsecured personal loan does not require you to pledge a property. Secured borrowing does. Check the specific offer in our comparison because a company may provide both, with different documents and risks.

Can a self-employed person apply for a bank personal loan?

Yes. BDO is one option in our comparison that accepts qualifying self-employed applicants. Prepare business and income records rather than employee payslips. Required operating history and accepted evidence differ between companies.

What income documents should an employee prepare?

Prepare valid identification and evidence of regular income, such as recent payslips, an employment certificate and tax records. The exact combination depends on the lender. Use the checklist in the company profile, then confirm any missing items before applying.

Why is the cash released less than the approved loan?

Processing fees, insurance or applicable taxes may be taken out before release. Ask for the net amount you will receive. If you need a specific cash amount, an approval for that amount may leave you short after deductions.

Is monthly add-on interest comparable with an annual bank rate?

Not directly. They use different periods and calculation bases. Compare effective interest rates, net proceeds and total payments for the same term.

How are personal loan repayments collected?

Repayment may be collected by automatic bank deduction or another approved payment channel. Confirm the account, due date and payment processing time. Keep enough money available before the debit and retain your payment records.

Can I pay a personal loan off early?

Ask for a dated settlement quote before paying. Check any prepayment charge and whether paying extra reduces principal or merely advances installments.

Does Pesopal approve personal loans or lend me money?

No. Pesopal compares personal borrowing options and published information. The lender or programme administrator assesses your application and issues the offer. Changing our filters does not submit an application or guarantee eligibility.

What should I verify after comparing personal options on Pesopal?

Check net proceeds, effective interest rate, fees and total scheduled repayments on the lender’s official website or app, then confirm your written offer. Rates, fees, limits and requirements can change after our review, Pesopal’s figures are a comparison starting point, not a binding quote.
