What could the repayments look like?
Try different amounts, repayment periods and interest rates in the loan payment calculator. It is an independent example, not this company’s quote. A longer term can lower each payment while increasing total interest.
Already know your monthly budget? Estimate an amount you could plan around. For an actual offer, include its fees and payment schedule.
What deserves a closer look
Confirm your school is covered
Partner-school arrangements can determine whether an installment plan is available and which rates apply.
Understand the co-borrower role
Another person may be responsible for the debt with you. Both should review the agreement.
Compare non-loan support too
Ask the school about scholarships, grants and its own payment arrangements before borrowing.
Your questions, answered.
Can I use a student loan at any school?
Check the provider’s participating institutions and your campus. A loan available at one school may not be available at another.
Can an education loan cover more than tuition?
Some tuition-financing offers cover eligible school-assessed fees as well as basic tuition. They may not cover living expenses, transport or every miscellaneous charge. Compare the amount the provider will pay against your full school bill.
Will I receive education-loan money in my own account?
Not always. Tuition finance can pay the school directly rather than release cash to you. Check who receives the money and when the school credits it before relying on the loan to complete enrolment.
Why might a student need a co-borrower?
A co-borrower provides additional repayment support and can become responsible for the debt under the agreement. Bukas is one option in our comparison that requires one. Both people should understand the payment schedule and their obligations before signing.
Can I assume every student loan waits until graduation for repayment?
No. Check the first due date. An installment arrangement may require payments while you are still studying.
Should I borrow the entire tuition bill?
Subtract confirmed scholarships, grants and savings first. Borrowing a smaller amount can reduce the repayment commitment.
What if I transfer schools or withdraw from a course?
Ask the school and lender how refunds affect the outstanding loan. Do not assume withdrawing automatically stops installments.
How do I compare a tuition installment plan with a cash loan?
Compare the tuition actually covered, all repayments and fees, and when payments begin. Also check whether the funds can be used for your intended expenses.
Does Pesopal approve education loans or lend me money?
No. Pesopal compares education borrowing options and published information. The lender or programme administrator assesses your application and issues the offer. Changing our filters does not submit an application or guarantee eligibility.
What should I verify after comparing education options on Pesopal?
Check school coverage, co-borrower duties, disbursement and the first payment date on the lender’s official website or app, then confirm your written offer. Rates, fees, limits and requirements can change after our review, Pesopal’s figures are a comparison starting point, not a binding quote.
